چکیده
This report describes the state of the art in both Semantic Desktops and Semantic Wikis. The surveyed systems are compared to each other and related R&D issues are outlined. Emphasis is given especially in possible usage of Semantic Wikis in the software engineering domain. Project co-funded by the European Commission under the “Information Society Technology” Programme, Framework Programme 6. Investigating the Impact of Information Literacy and Information Communication Technologies on Knowledge Sharing among Public Library Librarians
Purpose. Information literacy and information communication technologies are the determining factors in today's ever-changing conditions. In this study, the relationship between information literacy and knowledge sharing with the mediating role of information communication technologies among public library staff has been studied to determine the role of these two factors in knowledge sharing by...
متن کاملOFLOSSC, an Ontology for Supporting Open Source Development Communities
Open source development is a particular case of distributed software development having a volatile project structure, without clearly-defined organization, where activity coordination is mostly based on the use of Web technologies. The dynamic and free nature of this kind of project raises new challenges about knowledge sharing. In this context, we propose a semantic Web approach to enhance coo...
متن کاملDistributed Knowledge Sharing For Patient Guidance Ehealth Services
The European society is characterised by high costs for its health system and a shrinking work force due to health reasons and an aging population. The acceptance of prevention strategies is disappointingly low, as prevention requires an active and continuous commitment and does not consider individual preferences of potential users. We analyse the provision of personal guidance services in eHe...
متن کاملArtificial Intelligence and Social Semantic Collaboration
The semantic web holds promises for information organization and selective access, providing standard means for formulating and distributing metadata and ontologies. However, we miss a wide use of semantic web technologies on personal computers. The use of ontolo-gies, metadata annotations, and semantic web protocols on desktop computers will allow the integration of desktop applications and th...
متن کاملThe Role of Digital Reality Technologies in Libraries: A Systemic Review
Introduction: Fourth-generation libraries can no longer be satisfied with web software facilities and must use technologies, including digital realities to increase the level of service and attract clients. Therefore, this review aimed to identify the roles and effects of these technologies in libraries. Methods: In this systematic review, PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar adv...
